This spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath home offers over 1,100 sq. ft. of living space including a large living room and bonus Florida room overlooking the beautiful Weeki Wachee fresh spring water. Both bedrooms and the living room are equipped with smart TVs. Making your way outside you will enjoy an extension of the home on the covered 200 sq. ft. screened porch, perfect for family vacations and gatherings. Enjoy relaxing inside playing board games, while the backyard oasis awaits with kayaks, seating, a propane fire pit, and BBQ grill.

Welcome to our Overlook Retreat on the Weeki Wachee River! Nestled just 10 houses away from the main river, our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom house offers the perfect getaway for nature enthusiasts and water lovers. Here are all the amazing features of our vacation rental:

• Docking and parking facilities: Plenty of room to dock your boat and park your boat trailer, making it convenient for those who love boating or fishing.
• Kayaking paradise: We provide 5 kayaks for you to embark on unforgettable adventures along the meandering Weeki Wachee River. Discover the magic of kayaking just 3 miles up the river or venture 4 miles out to the open Gulf waters.
• Hospital Hole: Just a short paddle away, you'll find the famous Hospital Hole. This unique spot is a natural spring known for its crystal-clear waters and an abundance of underwater wildlife. Snorkelers and divers will be enchanted by the experience of exploring this hidden gem.
• Ample sleeping space: Our house comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests, ensuring everyone has a cozy place to rest after a day of adventure.
• Outdoor entertainment: Fire up the gas grill and savor a delicious barbecue while enjoying the tranquil riverside ambiance and breathtaking views. Plenty of room to enjoy the views from our 200 square foot, covered and screened, back deck.

This home can comfortably sleep 6 people with the following accommodations:

Master Bedroom- King Size Bed

Guest Room- King Bed (Made up of 2 Twin Mattresses which can be separated)

Sun Room- Twin day bed with twin trundle underneath

3 Smart TVs! Including one in each bedroom! Cast from your phone or log-in to your favorite streaming Apps.

Tell Me About the Outside:

You are welcome to use the kayaks for no additional charge and at your own risk. Life jackets and paddles are also available for use. 

The back yard is fenced in along both sides and across the front.

Parts of the river and the gulf can get very shallow, especially during low tides. If you are thinking about bringing your own craft we are happy to speak with you about tips and tricks we’ve learned.

We can’t forget about the largest local attraction- Buccaneer Bay with the world famous live mermaid shows and water park.
