This home is in the neighborhood right next to where the preserve begins and the river gets very pretty.  Close enough to be in all the action and far enough away for some rest and relaxation. 

If you are looking for a vacation or a Snow Bird rental in Florida, here it is. The home has an open floorplan perfect for family/friend vacations and gatherings.  This 4 bedroom, 2 full bath home lays out over 1,600 sq. ft. of indoor living space; with an additional 200 sq. ft. screened in porch. Fun begins here with a gaming table; hosting pool, ping-pong and air hockey. The fun continues into the backyard- which is complete with kayaks, cornhole, picnic tables, a fire pit, a floating island and your very own private outdoor shower (with hot water!). 

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION-  Close to the most beautiful part of the winding river, where you look down and see a clear sandy bottom, manatees, and woods on all sides. If you make your way down river you will come to the famous depths of Hospital Hole, Roger’s Park and The Upper Deck restaurant. If you keep going even farther, you will reach the Gulf of Mexico.

Master Bedroom- King Size Bed

Guest Room 1- Queen Size Bed

Kids Room- Twin/Bunk Beds with Twin Trundle and Full-Size Futon

5 Smart TVs! Including one in each bedroom! Cast from your phone or log-in to your favorite streaming Apps. 

Dog friendly (max 2 small or 1 large). Sorry no cats as Mama is very allergic.

Tell Me About the Outside:

This home is equipped for excitement with 7 single adult, 1 double adult, and 1 youth kayak. You may also choose to try out Big Yellow- who we believe is the best beginners stand up paddle board. There are 2 large canoes available. You will find a large floating island/mat to enjoy right off the dock. There are two 20’ floating docks for you to lounge on, fish or tie-up to. Sorry- the Jon boat pictured is not included.  There is, however, dock space to tie up your own boat if you choose. 

You are welcome to use kayaks, paddle board, canoes and floating mat for no additional charge and at your own risk. Life jackets and paddles are also available. 

The back yard is fenced in along both sides and across the front of side yards to secure in furry friends. One of the side yards is all grass, we call this dog run. Please be aware that there is no fence along the river side of this home. 

Parts of the river and the gulf can get very shallow, especially during low tides. If you are thinking about bringing your own craft we are happy to speak with you about tips and tricks we’ve learned.

What about parking?:

There is a covered carport that holds one car and two additional cars fit in the driveway. Three cars or a boat trailer may be parked in the grass of the front yard.

We purchased this home as a family retreat. We love exploring new places and meeting new friends. We enjoy our escapes to the magical Weeki Wachee and we hope you do too.

Blackout curtains in all the bedrooms! 

Propane grill in the backyard available for use. Propane is available at the local Winn Dixie, should the bottle be empty.

Lastly, there is a pack-and-play for a little one.

There are many things available close by like fishing, boating, sailing, sightseeing, antiquing, golfing, flea market hunting, horseback riding, nature hiking, kayaking, water skiing, swimming, shelling, gambling on the Sun Cruise Casino Boat and more.

Roger’s Park, Marina & Boat Rentals, Kayak Shack, Linda Pedersen Park, Weeki Wachee Springs State Park, Pine Island Beach Park, Sun West Park, Thunder Party Boat for fishing, Fishdaddy Charters, Heather Golf Club, Oak Hills Golf Club. We can’t forget about the largest local attraction- Buccaneer Bay with the world famous live mermaid shows and water park.

Other popular attractions within 2 hours drive time include: Clearwater Beaches, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Disney World, SeaWorld, Universal Studios, Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, and the Kennedy Space Center.
